NACR
Breeders Services Introduction
The NACR offers a number
of services to its registered breeders in return for their support of
the registry. Once you are a registered
NACR breeder, you will be entitled to NACR
Breeder benefits and you may
utilize
the online
input forms for kennel/breeder, litter and new owner registrations
and puppy
listing requisitions to make it quick and easy. We also strive to
be here
to
support NACR breeders in any other issues so please don't hesitate to
ask
if there is something you think we can help with. If you have
a web site or page, you are invited to obtain an NACR Registered
Breeder button graphic
and
linking instructions for your website. Contact the
NACR webmaster to
get your
graphics.
In
order to remain a registered NACR breeder with full services you are
required to:
- Register all
litters for all cockapoos produced by your kennel regardless of
background by the time the litter is 3 weeks old.
- Register
all pups with/for your buyer and submit the litter applications to the
NACR as a unit by the time the litter is 12 weeks old. If any pups
remaining unplaced by that time may send those in as they are placed.
Certificates will be sent directly to the new owner. Every litter
needs to be registered at the rate of $10.00 per puppy, but there is no
further registration per dog needed; use bulk littler
registration for ease of submission; registrations for litter and owner
registrations apply as stated.
- Non-registration of litters from any breeder will be cause for
removal per the NACR
Breeder Policy
- Please
note that the NACR does not accept for participation in the registry
such breeders that sell to pet shops or other wholesale outlets.
Breeders holding a USDA license for re-sale may be considered via
prima-facie evidence of such activity unless such a breeder can and
does submit reasonable proof that such a license is held for other
reasons. USDA license holders are matters of public record and the NACR
does cross check for such licensees.
- Breeders must update their information files with the NACR once
every calendar year, including notification of dogs no longer in that
kennel's breeding program. If no litters were produced in that calendar
year the NACR must be notified that this was the situation, otherwise
you will be dropped from active listing in the NACR.
To gain breed status for these
wonderful dogs establishing the genetic database requires your
full participation. In return for participating in and
supporting
the registry (and please
note that the NACR is a registry and not a regulatory body) as a
registered NACR breeder, you are entitled to the following NACR Breeder
benefits:
- be listed on the NACR website as a registered breeder;
- be provided with the service of listing puppies available
on the NACR
Puppy Page;
- be added to the online NACR Breeders Discussion List &
informed of people searching for cockapoo pups as we
receive inquiries;
Most importantly, you are
presented as a dedicated and supporting breeder participating in what
has become a standout reference for cockapoos. The NACR site
has become a known and major jumping off point for people looking for
cockapoos.
